Dear relation,

On 17 December 2021, twenty-eight years after taking over the company from my father and uncle, I proudly handed it over to my son Sven.

As of today, Sven is the managing director and owner of Gras Wood Wide and its affiliated companies. This makes him the sixth generation of the Gras family to head the company, which was founded in 1868, making it a special occasion.

Sven started his career in wood as a trainee at a large Canadian sawmill and also gained experience at one of our Finnish suppliers.

He has been working at Gras Wood Wide since 2013. In doing so, he has studied all aspects of our products and familiarised himself with the many aspects of entrepreneurship.

In recent years, he has focused on our ready-made facade products, which we have successfully introduced to the market.

Because of this, I am convinced that Sven, with the knowledge and experience he has acquired, will further develop the company in this remarkable time.

I would like to thank you for the trust you have shown Gras Wood Wide and me over the past years. I will remain with the company as an advisor for as long as Sven sees fit.

I trust Sven to continue our relationship with you with just as much enthusiasm, and do so with an easy mind.
