In the polder, south of Amsterdam, where the Stelling van Amsterdam with its forts is still clearly visible, Hoogeveen Architects from Amstelveen has designed a villa that is fully integrated into the beautiful surroundings. The villa is located on a ‘private’ island and offers the residents every possible luxury. For cladding, Lunawood has been chosen, which is then stained again so that the wood looks very black. This color makes the building even more immersed in the surroundings.
